Welcome to Derwent Vale Farm Vets

The practice was formed in May 2021 after splitting from a mixed practice where the established farm team had been serving farmers in Ryedale and the surrounding area for over 25 years. Opening a farm only veterinary practice allowed us to create a team fully focused on providing farm clients with a comprehensive and high-quality service.

We are proud to remain an independent practice but have joined XLVets, a group of independent, progressive farm practices dedicated to supporting long-term prosperity within the UK livestock industry. This union has enabled us to source our medicines at competitive prices, it promotes the sharing of knowledge, training and expertise in order to support us to deliver the very best in farm veterinary care.
